Mr Smith gets back in the kitchen to experiment making Cinnamon Buns.
This is definitely a work in progress for presentation, but flavour was spot on…Like so many things in life, they are never right first time round. I confess I am not good with pastries, but I am learning! I make bread and do that OK. but the more delicate stuff is a work in progress. I gave some cinnamon buns a go today.
Taste = Great
Style = Much work to do
I know the issues, my filling was to soft, I rolled out the dough to thickly and I can not roll up a sausage, yet!
The house smells so nicely of cinnamon though and I have pretty much only eaten those for dinner, oh well, not healthy but very tasty
More of these to come over the next few weeks as I get better at them
Oh, and yes the oven was a little hot!
