The Focus of Mr Smith

Now that I have caught up on the majority of old blog posts and worked out the style I would like to use going forward. it is about time that I divulged a little more about Mr Smith.

Who is Mr Smith?

He is anyone he wants to be!  Photographer, Gourmet, Cook, Oenophile, Traveler, International Athlete, Investor, bit of a Geek and observer of life, well they are the things he wants to be and is aiming to be.  OK, I might have to review the aim of being a bit of a geek, but you get the idea.

Mr Smith is an alias, but he is just you average single man trying to make the most of life.

Where did Mr Smith come from?

He was born from an idea when traveling.  He had discovered Mr & Mrs Smith Hotels, which suit him down the ground,  boutique, friendly and great places to stay.  The problem was a lack of a Mrs Smith.  So, why not just be a Mr Smith and enjoy the benefits of the hotels and other adventures?  That was the solution and he shares those adventures with friends who can join and be one of a variety of Mrs Smith’s for different adventures.

What is the blog about?

The clue is in the name, but essentially it is all about the adventures of a Mr Smith, an everyday person who wants to make the most out of life which for Mr Smith involves food, wine, travel, running, cycling and photography

Why am I writing it?

The brain of Mr Smith has a tendency to go at a million miles an hour and flick between ideas.  The blog is to try and allow him to create a focus and drive, hence my icon.  He functions a lot better when there is a target to aim for, like a traveling adventure, a race or anything where he needs to focus his attentions.  This is a very personal blog for Mr Smith and he is sharing his thoughts, feelings and adventures as he goes.  Hopefully some people will like what he writes or find his adventures useful, but the primary objective is to provide Mr Smith with an area to capture and remember his adventures, but also to let him unclutter the brain, focus on the good things in life, hopefully kick start some new skills and resurrect his love of photographer, which has definitely disappeared.

Bring on the new adventures – time to FOCUS!
